The idea of the project is based on being able to materialize the “invisible” traces of the place and make them react to the environment and to the program or function of the project.
On the one hand we find the mark of the architecture, exemplified in the type of “Mojinete” roof, a covering that we find in much of the south of Moquegua and Tacna, characterized by its trapezoidal or truncated pyramid silhouette, placed on the wooden framework and protected with wild cane filament fabrics.
The project seeks to rescue the logic of the structure and the geometric lines of the original form, but giving them a new expression and improving the exterior-interior spatial relationship.
