The Plaza de Arequipa is the most important space in the Historic Center of the City, surrounded by ashlar portals, the central pool and Tuturutu, and with the imposing presence of the Cathedral, but this configuration was not always the same; The way we currently know the square is the result of a series of modifications suffered over the years as a consequence of unfortunate events, such as fires and earthquakes. What the project seeks is to be able to make evident the different layers of previous interventions, superimposed layers that show the evolution of space, but that are absent from the current imaginary.
