The intervention seeks to revitalize the Alamedas axes by restoring the monumental areas and repowering the active use of Rímac on a neighborhood and urban scale.

The memory of the place and tradition are introduced in interventions along the route, activating the space with new uses, to give it a recognizable identity and a homogeneous reading from a 5 x 5 meter grid, which structures and organizes the route and introduces small sub-spaces (platforms with a program) for different uses on a pedestrian scale. This “urban carpet” is materialized by the combination of colorful pieces of cobblestone on the floor that, like a pixel, resemble a field of yellow “Amancaes” flowers.
