The project starts from the idea of using brick in its most expressive form and associating it with its structural and climatic benefits, together with the idea of introducing an architectural typological element with which it could be combined.
Teatinas, zenith ventilation and lighting components incorporated in a systematic way in the constructions of the cities of Peru, from the end of the 18th century to the first years of the 20th century. The idea of the teatina as an air conditioning element was interesting and it was decided to enhance its faculties by turning the section of it into a habitable space, which would allow to house, for example, rooms with a more pleasant scale, with large windows for lighting and ventilation, in addition to having the possibility of being expanded in the future from wooden mezzanines.
