Casa Arcos Cañete

The house has a double reading from an enveloping layer, the first surface is a set of arches that under a square plan turn the entire project around, some of them are massive and others virtual and make a reference to the typology classic of the haciendas of the South of Lima and Ica. The internal layer is made up of the volume of the program of the house, from which two upper levels protrude as skylight spaces and towards the center a void, an interior garden that gives transparency to the project from the inside.

The spaces between the external skin and the volume are filled with gardens, terraces and roofs which sew both parts together.
